No, but that guy is on the current show The Librarians, and he was in Leverage, which is over and available for binge-watching on Netflix. By the way, his name is Christian Kane, and he is also a musician and singer. He comes from a small town in OK where some of my relatives live, and I hear he is very chill in

That's nice? But seriously, would you want your thirteen year old daughter to be wondering around an area that she did not know well, that had a high crime rate, particularly a high rate of sexual assault, searching for a payphone (which are so very ubiquitous nowadays) in order to make a collect call?

Yes, you are right, it's much safer for a thirteen year old girl to wonder around alone in a bad neighborhood searching for a payphone.

To answer your question, I got my first phone at thirteen. I was going to a private school where I had to take the train to and from school. My parents wanted me to have a phone in case I missed my stop and ended up stranded in West Philly.

I don't think sharing automatically equates with porn, but it's irrelevant to this case because that didn't happen. You can't prosecute for what might have happened.

The purpose of those laws is to protect children. Charging children for filming themselves (unless it was done secretly without the knowledge of the other participants) isn't protecting children, so therefore it goes against the purpose of the law.

So keep our kids isolated in the stone age, while the rest of us sit in the digital age right? Because that's going to work out sooo well, and never have any ramifications as they grow up.

Oh pssht. I didn't equate cell phones and freedom, those are two separate sentences. I was responding to multiple issues from the prior comment.

Huh. I've never heard of starting your kids early to be comepetative. I have heard of starting kids late so that they'll have a slight developmental advantage.

Are you the state or what? To you, does this feel like "child pornography". I really worry about whether people in the US can differentiate between letter and spirit of laws.

I'd rather have my kid on the phone at 2am up to some bullshit then sneaking out at 2am up to some bullshit, which is the historical precedent.

a parent can give their child a phone. but the child doesn't have to keep the phone 24/7. What do they need a phone for at 2AM other than to bullshit.

Only by the most literal douches in the universe. They didn't share the videos of themselves with anyone else (if anything, its clear no adults witnessed the videos until they took it upon themselves to forcibly confiscate, and of course view, the videos).

I think OP gets that, the point is that it kids shouldn't be prosecuted for it. The purpose of those laws was not to punish children, and prosecutors can decide not to enforce those laws. Ideally, the laws should be changed.

Yes. I'm saying the law should be changed.

Okay. I have had enough, Wisconsin children! No more sex parties! No more Slender Man killings (or attempted killings!) Done! Enough!

BUT THEY'RE THE FUCKING CHILDREN. JFC.

- Although the videos weren't shared on social media, the local chief of police says he wants to send a message that such sex-recording is unacceptable.

Kirby Cosplay?

We actually had a meeting, all the rest of us, and the last 10 years have just been us gas-lighting you.
