It was the most NFL players that have ever attended a White House visit EVER!

An HR exec at my work was in Rockapella. One of the most genuinely nice people I ever met.

This is definitely what I came here for.

I loved this show so much. I so wanted to be a contestant as a kid. Also I’m pretty sure a percentage of my memory is allocated to just remembering this song.

Now playing

You know what you have to do! Do it Rockapella!

You forgot the most important reason why people love Carmen Sandiego. It was a game that was actually fun that we were allowed, nay, ENCOURAGED to play at school.

what an immensely depressing statement on the condition of our world.

I really don’t see why you would want to survive. What are you expecting to find afterwards that would be of use to you?

Wouldn’t it just be more prudent to run TO the blast? Who the hell’s gonna wanna live after getting nuked?

Kinda wanna know how much the truck would protect me, tbh. Or even the tree.

A nice article, though it does bring up the same classical question: How do you make sure you’re actually down there when the bomb goes off?

Just want to say how much I appreciate articles like these, not only for the information itself, but for the simple act of keeping people informed instead of either giving people false reassurances or doomsaying.

Sigh.. This is something I wish I didn’t need to know, but due to the time we live in, now need to learn. Thanks for posting this, I just hope I never actually have to use it.

Yes, absolutely. It makes me want to scream and throw shit. Maybe get into a fist fight with this lady.

I lasted about 3 seconds. Deliberate slow talking, whispery voices like this complete with lipsmacking saliva noises. One person's fetish is another person's poison etc. It reminds me of something from a David Lynch film and not in a good way.

I felt like I could hear her lips sticking to and unsticking from her teeth, and it drove me insane. It was very distracting. It did not make me feel relaxed. It made me feel like bringing her a glass of water.

I feel the same. The sound of someone whispering into a mic makes me want to cover my ears and scream. I think it's because it's mostly hard consonants, and you can hear every tiny little mouth noise. It's like being in a saliva cave.

I think it's a bit of misophonia aka soft sound sensitivity.

You are not crazy. It makes me want to smoother her with a pillow. But I settled for stopping the video.

I feel like I have whatever the opposite of ASMR is, because this puts me ON EDGE. When I hear shit like this it is insta-rage. I can't get away from these nosies fast enough, and also, if I see someone doing something that I know is making that noise, I can not even look at them because I am just imagining the sound.
