You made sleeping on a C-130 sound really fancy........ Seriously, that is literally 99% of their job.

I’m not pissed. The longer it takes to “fix” my TDI, the better. It’s been 5 years and 140,000 miles of awesome.

Those federal guidelines are the reason VW has stopped selling most TDI’s. The cars that are already on the road are perfectly legal until the EPA and VW agree upon the legal complexities of whatever the fix is. Then a time period to perform said recall will be granted, after which the vehical will then be deemed

Nope, it’s legal to operate. It’s illegal for VW to sell them. Where are you people getting your facts from? It’s like a competion to see who can cast the most hate in vw’s direction.

Really.......? God I hope thats scarcasim .

Lets see.....

I’ll accept the douchebag label. But contrarian? Maybe amongst people that don’t own a TDI. My opinion of “don’t F with my gas mileage, it’s why I purchased the car” seems to be the camp where a majority of us owers sit.

I will willfully not take my 2011 tdi back to the dealer for the fix. I bought this car for the mileage and gave zero fucks about the “clean deseil” BS. 140,000 miles later and I’m wishing I picked up another one before they stopped selling them. Why do you drive if willful environmetal damage angers you so? What are

You’ve ruined nothing. The secert of this road died a decade ago via google maps. The reason it stays empty is its location, it can be a two hour trip from Los Angeles depending on traffic. However, the cyclist infestation that has plauged Malibu since the mid-2000s have pushed many of us to make the trip more often.

I guess I have to watch WRC and WEC this weekend. I have a feeling this year marks the end of VW/Audi competition in world campionship motorsports. Hopefully it doesn’t effect the two wheeled part of the family’s quest for MotoGP glory.
