Yeah. Clover is also neither a doctor nor has had the opportunity to do a diagnostic examination of the man in question. "Unstable mental state" = upset, not mentally ill.
Who Stephanie Moseley truly was is something that's going to be lost in this story for a while. Thanks for bringing this up. I hunted down at least part of the audio. It starts at about a minute in on the video in this story.
Wait, Mayweather was Facetiming with him at the time? At what point do you call 911?? If I have a friend threatening to kill their partner and then themselves I'm calling for emergency help. I am NOT equipped to handle that shit.
Plus he actually witnessed it happen on face-time.
Maybe I didn't read the post carefully enough, but who reported this to the police? It wasn't Mayweather, was it? And then he rolls into a Clippers game afterwards to shmooz with his pals? I don't have reason to suspect he had anything whatsoever to do with this murder/suicide, but holy shit ... that's a damn cold way…
Victim blaming? I'm pretty sure Mayweather isn't a victim here.
I love how people immediately go "oh well he had to be mentally ill to do something awful." Or he's just a fucking monster. You don't have to be insane to be evil.
Uggh, this is the pinnacle of what can happen under a belief system that treats women as property. Because male celebrity entourages are so used to women being at their beck and call, I wouldn't be surprised if he cheated multiple times. But the moment a woman is simply believed to be cheating, she's considered…

Yeah, definitely respond to someone on Grindr with something about "come" and "face" and assume that will get them to leave you alone
As I face down my third exam in as many days the idea of a skeevy fat spiderman getting permabanned from a dating site has amused me no end. Thank you :D
I'm happily married, but always wondered if I ever did have to start over again later in life if there are any dating websites for nice people. Not trilby wearing, friend-zone, nice-guy kind of nice. A site that has actual nice people interested in actually making friends and dating as opposed to whatever it is…
People will do anything, literally anything, to excuse the actions of family annihilators. Money problems? Very alarming. Drug addiction? Crippling. No good, bad influencing acquaintances/associates? Must've been their fault.
We all have that frenemy who likes to push buttons and egg us on. I used to work with this woman who I mistakenly confided in about a few things (nothing major) and she would push those buttons regularly. I tried not to take the bait, but sometimes she'd hit a sore spot.
Tragic. Floyd going to a game doesn't mean much but dude has always been a little sociopathish.
Yeah I'm sure this known abuser mocking and humiliating a disturbed individual as a weak person for staying with the woman who allegedly cheated on him, had ZERO affect on the person who soon after that killed her and then himself.

I heard about this on the radio this morning. Stephanie Moseley was from British Columbia, and the CBC spoke with her former long time dance teacher. She had such wonderful things to say about her and the entire time she was crying. It was heartbreaking. What a tragedy.
