Most conservative plans for dismantling public unions carve out substantial exemptions for those groups; those are real jobs, after all, stuff we need.* Unlike those liberal propagandists who only work 8 months a year... those are the public unions we have to tear down.

Istomin played great. It’s one thing to pull off an upset, but another to have to come up with the goods in 15/20+ shot rallies against Nole again and again. Amazing stuff. Nole seemed to be going for less and trying to win by outlasting Istomin, but if that was a conscious choice, it was a disaster.

To me, Bonds was an asshole with a cause — his dad had been treated miserably during his own baseball career and Barry never got over that or trusted people in and around baseball.
