Out of curiosity, when was the last time in US history that multiple states attempted to sue the President for anything, and what was it for?  I’m sure this can’t be the first time, can it?

We don’t. What we have a hard-on for is not wasting massive amounts of money to solve a non-existent problem. Illegal immigration is at an all-time low in this country. Fact-check it yourself, if you’re capable of such a thing. That is literally the exact opposite of a problem.
