Pardon me, but this entire digression borders on insane. Here’s a handy guide for anyone who is debating whether they should coast downhill or leave their car in gear

They’ve acknowledged it’s terrible, but also said its usage is mandated by corporate forces beyond their control.

Uh, recovering the deductible from an at-fault party SHOULD happen and happens all the time. It’s called subrogation and if the other party has insurance, then your insurance company will almost assuredly recover the deductible from them.

I was thinking more along the lines of...

This teaching method is the reason why our 4 year old gets everyone an ice for any and all injuries - since whenever he would hit/throw/do something hurtful to his older siblings we’d ask him to get them an ice. Now it’s:

Every part seperates from every other part. Usually violently.

Well my word. That truck was decabitated.

My dog loves everyone, but I always appreciate the children who ask before petting him. Please parents, tell your kids not to run up and pet strange dogs without asking.

DAMNIT! I’m just here to bitch about the takata recall. It’s such a joke.

...And the Takata recall would have condemned 20 million cars due to that law. They do not have the parts to fix the cars yet, so the cars have been recalled for months, some for over a year and they are still months away from having the fix. The parts are technically available, they’re just not plentiful enough to
