If you want to be pedantic, it’s worth noting that PC games are CONSISTENTLY cheaper and cheaper faster than their console counterpart. That alone, makes a significant difference. Get over yourself. If you want a starter PC go AMD all the way and you’ll get very close to the console price.

Or sort of like business...

Looks terrible and generic. Yay mindless kickstarter backings...

Modding is a hobby. If publishers really want to capitalize on mods they can commission modders to make pay for DLC. That is precisely how you’d drive modders and innovate. By acknowledging them and giving proper credit. Not by gutting the community.

That’s why it’s a hobby and not a business. A donate button could have still worked and Bethesda could have easily arrived at a profit sharing contract. Start with a 25% cut and raise it as profits go up for the modder.

It’s their defense during that week that rubs people the wrong way. They claimed, but were of course full of shit, of being community first and sales second. Honestly, until Steam became a MAJOR contender, they largely proved that. Cutting into their share, cutting and advocating steep price cuts and listening fully

Best intentions would have been a donate button added and, at most, publisher/developer gets 60%-70% (purely because it is a gray area and it is their IP) and the rest goes to the modders. Not having the modders get shafted and Valve and publisher get most of the money.

That’s why I stopped playing Mario Kart. CHALLENGE and intelligent AI is great. Frustrating and infuriating at times but hey skill based. When Mario Kart became explicitly luck based and VERY cheap, yeah stopped playing by myself. now it’s only when friends want to play.

If it’s not patched out, it’s perfectly acceptable. At least if it’s something VERY easy to patch out. Nintendo has even patched Mario Kart 7 tracks that were exploited in ways they didn’t want it to and that’s more time consuming than simply nulling fire hopping.

Well, it would be virtually impractical for them to abandon the vita card. The way it’s stupidly implemented, the way games use it, etc. You just can’t do it unless you’re just locking down sd cards anyway the same way.

NASCAR is an endurance sport whether you like it or not. ENTIRELY different than gaming “endurance”.

Classic Konami and Kojima nonsense.

The biggest disappointment in V is the total lack of legitimate DLC/Expansion. Heists were WASTED in the main game, could have been a fuckton load of fun, but nope, we only get a couple and they were...largely lacking...

He’s so full of shit. By “data driven” he means $$$ driven. Which is perfectly fine. They’re a COMPANY, but don’t paint it up and act like you’re not a whore about it. Yes, Gabe, you’re a damn dirty whore who wants more money. Be honest about it.

It’s a MMO, of course it’ll run good on consoles. There hasn’t been a truly graphically, spec-ambitious MMO ins decades...

People hated Jack’s and Heath’s Joker until they saw them in action. Apparently, these people also never learn to just stfu and wait.

What...da....fuq

They don’t report because it would affect their bargaining power. Same reason why Netflix doesn’t report how many are watching any particular show or movie. To us it would make sense to report as for encouragement and whatnot, but to them it’s threatening.

This is why we can’t have nice things...

Since Sony helped kick funding for Final Fantasy VII up till XIII, it’s not likely to happen until their rights expire. VII and VIII on PC were loopholes that pissed off Sony so IX and up had much more ironclad contracts when funding was given to help ensure exclusivity and timely releases.
