Fine?
Fine?
I actually kinda liked this (cowardly as it may have been), because by taking the anthem out of it they kinda made everyone booing and burning shit show their hand. Like, if your whole thing was about protesting during the anthem, but we’re not protesting during the anthem and you still get angry about it? Mayyybe it…
I get that, but the “who knows what would’ve happened had he not opted out” isn’t a question that needs to be asked, because we know the answer, because the team’s GM has told us.
Except that we do know what would’ve happened. The exact same thing, because the Niners were going to cut him anyway (GM Lynch has even said this). He says it would’ve had nothing to do with the protests but rather bringing in a new coach/offense (Shanahan and the offense he ran with Matt Ryan in Atlanta) that…
Was going to comment the exact same thing. Legit lol’ed at that one.
Don’t know exactly where 1 Potomac is, is this a 1060 West Addison situation, or did dude seriously put a return address on that?
“Never let anyone tell you the NFL isn’t fair. (That last sentence is a lie.)”
Interesting and totally original take there. Also of note: people are required to take tests to acquire a license before being allowed to operate vehicles proving that they can do so responsibly. You also need to go through more extensive training/testing if you want to operate bigger/more potentially dangerous…
Saints fan. Currently we’re looking at (likely) Chase Daniel or (maybe) Garrett Grayson coming in were something to happen to Brees.
Maybe? There was like a minute left after the first down play that got them to the 1, if they don’t fuck around and let the whole play clock run off they can run any three plays they want.
They still had a timeout left. Their playbook was wide open for at least one play. If I live to be 100 I don’t think I’ll ever shake the belief that throwing the ball there was all about trying to make sure Russell was the MVP and not Marshawn.
Not quite how MLB works...teams can draft anyone eligible (they don’t need to actually declare for the draft), but if a player is drafted and doesn’t sign by the deadline, the team doesn’t retain rights to that player. He just goes back into the draft pool the next time he’s eligible.
I’ll play
Eh, maybe not murder, but there are countless examples of college athletes at big-time programs who commit crimes (including violent crime, be it assault, rape or otherwise) and see their offenses minimized/brushed aside or even covered up by the system around them.
If it’s the last thing I ever do, I want to read that letter of recommendation from the Undertaker.
It’s actually a Mojo t-shirt, from back in his NXT days.
“Megatron’s Butthole,” while fitting, is too long and clunky to really catch on in a way that it can become the go-to name for people discussing the stadium in casual conversation.
+1 Pillsbury Throwboy
