That’s surprising to me. I had a Focus ST (I know it’s a different car) for several years without any issues beyond normal wear and tear. Now I drive a Focus RS (again, I know it’s a different vehicle) and it’s the same thing, just your average wear and tear stuff.

FiST is a great option. FoST if you need more space. In MI both can easily be had for well under 20k

I daily a Focus RS. I’d have to say the most annoying feature is the auto start/stop. It never works when I get to long stoplights, but then when I get to the shortest stoplight in history all of a sudden it wants to stop right before I need to start going again, then I push the clutch back in inevitably right before

I’m betting quite a few were spec’d and ordered by dealers that will turn them for a big profit. So you’ll probably be able to get your hands on a 2023, but not for anywhere close to MSRP.

They’re saying which cars will use it in late 2023? so it probably won’t be implemented until 2024 or later... It seems like this is still in the very early stages of development, I wonder how similar it will look/function to what they shared today.

nope, I totally expect there to be a bunch for sale. The price on them inflated immediately so it would make perfect sense to flip it. My buddy bought one last summer and sold it after just a few months for a big profit (not to turn it, it was just too soft compared to the m5 it replaced).

If you didn’t think Charles Leclerc was gonna crash an F1 car cuz he’s an F1 driver, you haven’t watched Charles Leclerc race... and I’m a big fan of his.

You should live stream (or blog or whatever) this auction

There’s one around town by me and it’s no slouch! I always think it’s a fun car to see.

you joke, but this track does seem to have more tight left turns than right ones. Do setups on F1 cars have to be symmetrical? seems like a driver might be able to benefit from being able to turn left harder than right on this circuit... but I don’t know anything about aerodynamics or tire degradation in general, let

someone that’ll make it more like the first movie.

They should have called it the XLR - 8.

I’m assuming they mean new cars, and the focus RS has been dead for 4 (WHAT?!) years now.

isn’t one of the main reasons cars are so heavy these days (EV’s aside) because of all the safety equipment built into them? If that’s true, then it seems strange that deaths have increased with weight.

Maverick Raptor with the AWD and 2.3L turbo from the RS

Is the battery technology evolving because of formula E, or is it just using the latest battery technology that others are producing?

OOh this looks good. I actually think the regular Corolla looks better, but this setup is really attractive. I don’t think it’s going to be worth trading in the RS for (I was hoping it might be), but I’d be happy to be wrong!

Welcome. I for one would love more F1 articles on Jalopnik so that I can talk about and argue about F1 on my favorite car news site.

I had this car and loved it, but the snowflake wheels (mine were chrome) were absolutely disgusting. They had good wheel options! A clean 5 spoke and the SS had the 10 spokes that were so cool, but the Z28 got these garbage bags. I hated them when I had the car and I hate them now.

My Focus RS is a family car. My friends and family all make fun of me for it constantly, but it fits my son and 3 other passengers in the car and has plenty of storage space in the hatch. ITS A FAMILY CAR.
