The things that people find off about its looks are fundamental to the overall design. For example, the long overhangs, wing mount design and positioning. There is no work-around for those

I suspect something wrong happened with the car. He should have been flooring it at that stage but it looked like he had turbo lag i.e. the electric motor misfired and didn’t deliver the power needed for ‘torque fill.’
Ignore him. A simple google (note my response to below) shows that the P1 uses the same hybrid unit as the normal P1
