This isn’t true at all. MSCHF isn’t claiming the shoes are “their own creation.” They’re Nike AIR Max shoes. If I buy a Dodge Charger and paint ahegao faces all over it, I can still sell the car and say it’s a Dodge Charger. I can’t copy the car and manufacture my own, or say I invented the Dodge Charger, but that’s

No SOLITARY, no sale.

What a great piece. There was actually a shareware store in my neighborhood for a few years when I was growing up, rows and rows of dot matrix labeled floppy disks with all sorts of crap on them. I’d love to learn more about the business decisions behind that.

It’s certainly worth not paying for. The art style is nice but movement is clumsy and there’s not a ton of tactical depth to the combat - it’s sort of like a slow-feeling roguelike Smash Brothers if that makes sense?

I played an earlier version of this during IGF judging last year and it was amazingly solid and robust back then. It looks like the dev has just continued to load good things onto his framework since then, so I’m very psyched to see this release.

I’ve played this for two years in a row during IGF judging and it’s incredible. I can’t praise it highly enough and hope it becomes a huge success.

I know there are Sephiroths out there. You have to find them.

This article has a wild amount of fuckups in it, not even counting the few that were already corrected. In the Flinstones game you say it’s “shuffleware” - do you mean “shovelware?” Leisure Suit Larry wasn’t “entirely lifted” from Softporn Adventure - the game shares the same structure and puzzles but has named

You’d be surprised as to how common “pick something for me” is as a customer request, especially among younger people. Bartender friends say they get it multiple times a night, every night. There are even bars that specialize in selecting and creating cocktails for patrons based on their individual tastes.

Big jukebox much?

I worked as a producer / project manager in games for some time. One of the most important parts of the job is being able to say “no” - to designers, to publishers, to management. Everybody always wants to make changes to the project (some of which might even be good and cool!) but it’s the producer’s job to remind

“Where,” not “were,” c’mon guy

FULL CHAOS OR NOTHING

Holy shit that last story.

You missed the most important one: @KattWillFerrell

Not to be a butt jerk, but wouldn't this article be just as valid / interesting with "Game developer puts Deus Ex on computer chip in her hand?" as the headline instead? "Woman" seems simultaneously both generic and reductive.

that's the KISS font, far from death metal

cool job calling a woman a bitch there champ
