Her glasses were really great in that scene. I'm loving her costumes.

I thought it payphoned it in.

He was waiting for Age of Ultron to come out, so that his lawsuit would make news.

Profit?

The millions whose intestines WILL NOT be silenced!

This is why I refused to click on the link. I hope his lawyer is making him cover some of the costs of the lawsuit.

First you get the coronary, then you get the Lotus Elan.

I love that he's upset that someone made a movie whose plot is a well-known trope for horror films, claiming that he thought of the idea of using a well-known trope first.

You're so right! Chuck does think 3 moves ahead like that…damn him!

Of course Philip allowed himself to be tested—he isn't part of the alleged "direct" line. He married in to the royal family (though, yes, he is related to them), and he was quite certain that he was related to the Old Czar, as his family had managed to keep track that far back. I, also, do not care whether the

Read about how King George I became king of England…look, I don't care, because to me patrilineal inheritance is silly, but England quite carefully decided to live under the fiction that there's a direct descent from the Conqueror to their current royal family. However, the truth is that George I is barely related to

I think Dollhouse is genius because it undermines the trope that Fox was trying to market. The hot girl who has no character outside of whatever man she's with? That's the definition of Echo, and yet as Echo develops, we see how stupid it is to label women that way.

Ah, perhaps, but we could sit around and argue all day about what rape is in Somalia's jurisdiction, yet still decide that the general American lexicon defines rape in a certain way. Of 18,000 jurisdictions in the US, the FBI reports that more than 10,000 of them comport with the federal definition of rape. The

I'm not arguing that what Jimmy did is rape in this comment, I'm reminding @ffffefjjj:disqus that rape is not penetration by force.

Yeah, I'm legit confused about why CBS ever picked it up. It doesn't comport with their style, really (MAYBE this could be an ABC show). Perhaps CBS was looking for a "light-hearted procedural," and this seemed perfect, with its prestige-drawing production team? It just doesn't fit with their line-up at all.

Thanks! I think I'll give it a miss. It doesn't sound like I'm missing any groundbreaking sci-fi.

Yes, true, though I feel as though those moments were generally surrounded by better episodes than this one. (I love this series a great deal—as much as I liked BB—I just disliked this one episode).

I think a big problem for me re: Hamm is that Don Draper is such a sad sack at this point. Stan continues to be artistically challenged by his professional life, while maintaining a happy work-life balance.
