Continuum is a frustrating show, but I think it's about 30% better than 12 Monkeys.

Oh dear, that was 1.5 years ago. I'm really quite happy!
I dunno, I guess I thought that was the appeal of Cheever. Everyone hates the suburbs, but everyone wants to live there, anyway. It was better than being back at war, or living in the city with the minorities. That was the tension.
DUDE, I'd be so impressed if poop could talk. Think of all the hits that would get on Youtube.
Awww, now we'll never get our apartment back, Gest!
Hell, if you edit out the stupid VR graphics from that show, you could play it on TV right now and I think it would fit better in to the landscape than it did in the mid-90s. I still don't think it would work on Fox, though…
I have a love/hate relationship with Nolan, where I love his movies and visual style, and hate that he is as bad at portraying female characters as Michael Bay.
Continuum raises all these issues WAY more convincingly (the main character has a son in the future, and if she changes the past for the good, she might erase her son). The emotions are much more sophisticatedly presented on that show.
I definitely think there's a bunker plan of some sort in place, since the senator was talking to his former aide about post-apocalyptic plan companies, and then Olivia went into the senator's office and closed the door.
Like a red-shift?
Or, Olivia is the one who has jumped backwards in time.
Maybe, though I would imagine that most priests of the time would say those arm rings represented idolatry to something other than God, etc. It would have been nice if Athelstan had discussed this in the past, though, or if a priest had mentioned it when they were in Wessex.
Athelstan the Un-deady? :(
I thought it was rather convenient that Floki happened to get a vision from the gods to kill the guy he deeply dislikes and is jealous of. This is why I'm deeply suspicious of anyone who has to commit crimes for their "religious beliefs." Every single time, their god seems to tell them to do something they wanted to…
I've always been here, just waiting for 1776 to be a topic of discussion!!! That's actually pretty true, really…anyway, I've never left the sci-fi boards on the AVC.
He loves the movie, but then again he's my ex now, so…maybe the key is marrying someone who dislikes this movie!
I love that he still is pulling for the film 1776 and trying to get more people to appreciate it. I've always thought his Adams was more "my idea of Adams" than Giamatti's performance (much as I enjoyed John Adams).
I politely submit 1492 (1992).
DefiniteLEE!
This movie took a while to come into its popularity…just like how it took America a while to hatch!
