My main problem with Prime—and this is going to sound incredibly lazy—is that Prime doesn't automatically go to the next episode. The whole user interface (including search features) is pretty bad, actually.

In S1, doesn't he say that he was undercover in Arkansas? I think his family was living in the midwest then, because that was presumably the field office where he was headquartered.

Philip probably actually knows what NBC is, unlike the dad in Studio 60.

And more of her father, who was probably the most charismatic person on the show outside of Jennifer and Ramse.

Surely you can't argue that the Brits didn't lose their empire in that time period (and in the decade immediately thereafter), Strangemonkey.

The Mamluks had insane diversity.

You could even make the case that this sort of thing is happening in the US!

I have a graduate degree, and it qualifies me to know how very much not an expert I am.

I would say that the main aspects of Chappie's character have nothing to do with him being an action hero.

The climax is splattery gun fights, but it's so over-the-top that it works with the light-heartedness in a weird way. It's definitely not a kids' movie, though.

I don't know why other people go to see Blomkamp movies, but what I appreciate about him is the character & setting elements—he doesn't forget to put real people in his films, and he doesn't forget to put them in a place that seems real. My problem with the last three movies was that I couldn't relate to anyone or

That would be so cool! Very Continuum-y. I'm not sure that this show has pulled off something that deft yet, though, so my expectations are low.

Ha! I wish we got to hear Cole's internal monologue. "Soooo…how many people do I have to shoot in order to save humanity?"

More Goines, then!

In fairness, the show made that pretty difficult to follow.
