The io9 coverage of Lovecraft Country ran meh to negative, but over on The Root they were doing a much more in depth review and breakdown of each episode and how it connects to both history and genre fiction, complete with suggested reading and viewing lists each week. It made for great companion reading. If you give

I absolutely loved it, but I haven’t read the book and had zero preconceived notions of what it would be going in. All I knew was it had a great cast and some dope looking monsters.

What I will say, without wanting to spoil anything, is to not go in expecting a horror show. It’s far more of a 50's style pulp adventure,

I’ll keep sussing my 8-year-old nieces and nephews in Among Us from afar on a weekly basis (be

Adam, you seem like a fellow gentleman of discerning tastes: Here are three of my favorite unheralded racing games you might want to think about tracking down and playing if you get bored (though obviously, you may have played one or two of them.)
