I think the in-game brutalities have gained more popularity over fatalities, as there are some that are way harder to pull off, but feel so rewarding when you do. We all know most will just watch a random fatality compilation on YouTube within a week of the game’s release anyways.

I personally thought the Kombat Kids were fine, Especially Takeda. The MKX comic mostly focused on him and he wasn’t too fond of his dad Kenshi at one point. He also somewhat made Hanzo (Scorpion) into a more well-rounded character who wasn’t all about blind rage.
