He may have meant from the open and off-road perspective. ‘Payback’ I think was the first NFS that had off road cars and cars that had specific use cases (some cars were drift and road only, but other cars were drift, road, and drag only)

The closest thing would be the ‘Midnight Club’ Series, ‘The Crew 2', and the ‘Forza Horizon’ Games, (which are all open world, (and a lot more simcade than the Forza Motorsports games.))

I’m all for it, though I kinda wish they just went full Auto Modellista and even cel shaded the cars and some of the environment. From what I hear, the handling is a lot better than before, and Heat was already pretty good imo.

Eh, budget ≠ cheap these days, but to tangent, I’d say the best cheap cameras + lenses under $1000 would be to look at sites like MPB.com, KEH.com, or Adorama’s used section.

I’d really say if you could, try Heat. Story aside, the game plays leagues better than NFS 2015, and Payback (which had arguably a better story). You can even mod it and make it look and feel better with Unite:

Yeah, people have their picks, but Underground was a paradigm shift for the series. As a kid on only ever got to see supercars in magazines or the auto show, with no hopes of ever sitting in one, it was dope to see a game that let me customize cars and drive my sister’s Nissan Sentra, or a Dodge Neon lol.
