Congratulations on finding a 2016 New York Times article which has been discussed here by your predecessors!

Where do housing prices begin to factor into these equations? Here in Seattle, traffic is absolutely insane because everyone lives far south/east/north and drives into the city because they can’t afford to live in seattle and areas like Renton/Auburn/Everett/Issaquah are more economical.

Increasing road capacity is itself a good outcome for Americans if they insist on passing stupid policies like nationwide rent control.

Actually you answered your own question. Tires are one of the most important features on any car. When you swapped the tires out on your Toyobaru and saw massive gains you proved just how important they really are.

But it is a balance those higher performing tires also make more road noise and need to be replaced faster. These are things manufacturers take into account when specing tires. If you sold cars with DOT slicks your customers would be mad the first time it rained and they all slid off the road, but your ring lap times

Its a shame literally everyone who has ever ridden one of these was killed immediately because of their lack of exhaust noise.

Loud pipes save lives is bullshit. The reality is loud pipes make you an asshole. You’re an asshole to quiet neighborhoods, to quiet country living, to others in traffic, loud pipes simply make you an asshole, it won’t save your life, or others.

you dont honestly believe in that “loud pipes save lifes” bullshit do you? cause thats not how sound works at all

Yeah but also go fuck yourself, scumbag

Seems like you read almost as well as AB writes.

Yeah, man. The lucrative field that gold diggers have been utilizing for years: being raped.

And side license plates would quadruple the ability for cops to identify cars. And while we’re at it, add a 5th on the roof to make state surveillance complete from all angles. See how the justification just builds on itself, we can’t be too safe, somebody think of the children!

No more pathetic than people whining about how awful it is to oppose a law that does nothing other than to make motorists pay out-of-pocket to make life marginally easier for our police, who already effectively enjoy carte blanche to do whatever they want and routinely get away with any and every offense you can name

Jack Crosbie needs to learn to code.

Counterpoint: NDT has taught me many things, and Jack Crosbie has not enriched my life in literally any conceivable way.

They should do what I do and use a push broom to clear the snow from the roof of the car.

There are two things I really want the OPP to crack down on more.

The article makes no mention of 1/4 mile performance.

At 3.5 sec 0-60, it’s not a particularly fast drag bike either

Except any gas powered 1000CC supersport will cost nearly 10k less and absolutely destroy it. 3.5 seconds sounds great in the context of cars, but for motorcycles in this price range, it ain’t shit.
