“Son, is that you?”

This is great for MotoGP/Dorna. I have a feeling Valencia will be the most watched race in the history of the sport.

I have seen quiet a few excellent/low mileage examples of the 89’ 944 Turbo selling for $18K or more. Anything that isn’t the Turbo S trim have not been going for that much.

Holy shit! If it was a bone-stock 89 944 with less than 50,000 miles I would find that reasonable. The aftermarket wheels and seats are a red flag for me. Why would anyone get rid of those OEM Recaro seats?

They do have some cool stuff at that dealership, but they are asking way too much for that 944 turbo. Last time I checked they wanted about $6000 over KBB. It has been on that lot for almost a year now.

I have been wondering if Rossi would have been penalized if he never looked a Marc on that turn.

As a flight controls engineer, I dread the term “fly-by-wire” on anything that is not an aircraft. Call it what it is, “throttle-by-wire.”

Rossi did slow down Marc (which I understand is against to rules), but kept trying to get Marc’s attention to get up to the front to battle with Dani and Lorenzo. If you want to make that argument, you could say that Marc was intentionally slowing down on Rossi too. If you watch the factory Hondas and Ducatis

Watch the first few laps of their battle. Marquez was already riding the outside line on that turn.

Yes I have. Between the high rotational speeds of the wheels and engine the bike will produce a factor that will want to keep it up (i.e. a toy top or gyro). With the tire technology and on-board “stability” electronics (traction/wheelie control) the bikes are very balanced and stable if the parameters are adjusted

Now playing

Absolutely not. I think Rossi was purposely trying to get him to slow down so he can go fight for second and first. Marc tried to ride through him, bumped his head into Rossi’s leg, Rossi’s foot fell off the peg, and pushed him off of his bike. I think then Marc panicked, grabbed too much front brake, and folded his

If you watch the instant replay from the rider’s left-side and the helicopter view you can see Marquez rode into Rossi first. The 93 bike pulled Rossi’s foot off of his peg. Instantaneously Marc pushed his helmet into Rossi’s leg. As a reaction Rossi pushed off Marc with the side of his leg. I believe Marquez panicked

The CB400F wasn’t Honda’s first production six-speed motorcycle. The CB360 had a six-speed and went into production a year earlier. I am not entirely sure whether the CB360 was the first one or not.

X-37B????

Get rid of these bros.

Another favorite of mine is Redbull’s flexible front wing. The cars can hit a more aggressive apex without shattering the front wing. The FIA deemed it to be illegal and disqualified the cars.

McLaren’s MP4/12 “Magic” rear brake pedal during the 1997 F1 season. The extra brake pedal allowed for better control around the corners. They weren’t caught with it until a photograph snuck a photo of it.
