No kidding. I had a 1985 S10 which ran on approximately 3.5 cylinders.

Let’s be honest with ourselves: the majority of these trucks are never carrying anything more than air, and one passenger. It’ll do just fine for the majority of an average user’s use.

In fairness, this is applicable to certain provinces.

Minivans are dope. Driven an Odyssey before? As comfortable as an Accord, as easily parked, and can move a dishwasher while in the factory packaging. Grand Caravan? Toss a mattress inside and it’s a solid camping tent. Road trip? Minivans are -choice-. That time I smuggled two 30 packs of beer into a music festival

Dunno if pizza at US Costco is different, but the stuff sold at Canadian stores is complete and utter garbage - it’s _terrible_.

Very cool. A co-worker (and a big car nut) of mine owns a 2000 Prelude, in black, with the leather interior and the manual transmission. Bone stock, just shy of 90,000km, and he’s the original owner. It’s a really nice car!

Similar. I have a 2010 Prius now, which entirely suits everything I need to do. I rent a truck once or twice a year from Uhaul, for under a hundred bucks including all mileage and taxes and such, when I need one.

Right, but they seriously aren’t great enough to prevent anybody from going seriously backwards on their loan, if they have to sell a RAM 1500 at the 48 month mark, or have a major mechanical problem at the 60 month mark when the vehicle is out of warranty.

It’s even more enjoyable than new stuff! When you land a ten year old, extremely low mile, one owner car in pristine condition, with full service records for 25% of what it cost when it was new, that’s a great feeling!

Definitely. The IS and RC interiors are pretty cheapo, and definitely not as nice as ATS. But GS / LS / RC are on a shelf which Cadillac doesn’t even touch.

The Continental is a terrible car, too. The interior just reeks of “shitty casino”. Gaudy as hell, with goofy lighting and chrome everywhere.

The problem with that, is that segment is already just as full. Land Rover has that segment in the bag with all of their models, as does Mercedes Benz with the E-class and S-class. Lexus with the LS, and Volvo with nearly their entire lineup. Also, Genesis with the G90.

Hey, fuk u, mang! There’s nothing wrong with a 3rd gen Prius! 😛

Aww. Poor little thing. I’d -love- a 2nd gen Fortwo ED. Now, if only my strata can collectively get their heads out of the asses and simply say “yes” to allow owners to have charging infrastructure (that’s as simple as a 120v wall socket - which would be completely effective for a Smart), I’d own one.

Absolutely agreed on all counts.

I can hardly imagine what that seat costs. If it’s anything like other M-B parts, this was a $12k expirament...

I’ve got a seat from a 2008 TL as my office chair. Complete with a power lead, so the power adjustments and heat work.

Ugh we have the same thing here, too. Always a FCA dealer, and typically “$20k cash back, a free trip to Mexico and a big screen TV!”

Wow, we have identical garages.
