Jays fan here....I think it sucks more in the immediate aftermath. However, once you take a step back and look at the season as a whole, it makes for a much better summer when the team is competitive, fun to watch and playing meaningful baseball in September/October. .

I am struggling to think of a profession that publicly whines as much as newspaper sportswriters when they run into obstacles in doing their jobs. If I were a Jays fan, I’d be reading the Sun for coverage of the Jays’ performance, not for clubhouse stories that are excuses masquerading as sports coverage.
