Oh wow there’s loads

Trucker Stig

Let’s not forget that Stig comes from a very large family with cousins across the globe. Big Stig, African Stig, Australian Stig, etc...

Changes the “mouth” and I can actually dig the design.

my 2003 BMW M3 convertible had this feature and from years of driving it it wasn’t unreliable and never broke.  you’re defending the indefensible.

My 6th gen Camaro had a standard mechanical latch and frameless windows, which dropped when you opened the door.

Both my 2013 Mustang and my 2016 Miata had mechanical door latches and dropped the glass slightly when opening the doors.

Which doesn’t work if there is no power, unless the manual release also drops the window in which case the electronic popper is overly complicated.

BMW did this in 1990, with the 850i. If the only way to have frameless windows is by using power doors, then do not design your car with frameless windows.

At this point the engineers know what sort of deranged manchild they are working for, this is on them too.

Porsche 997 was able to do this in 2005 with good ole fashioned doors.

It wasn’t engineers who demanded electric door openers, they’re just the poor bastards who have to try to find ways to execute Musk’s “genius” ideas.

Typical Tesla “engineering” a slapped together half ass solution that is neither obvious nor well documented, and completely unnecessary if they had done it right in the first place.

Died in the cybertruck the other night because I couldn’t get out.

Burning alive because you can’t manually release the doors in your Cyber Truck is tight!

Why do automakers insist on installing electrically powered doors? Just give us manual door locks like we’ve had forever. They work. They are easy to fix. They don’t require idiotic emergency levers. Stop overcomplicating things that work perfectly fine.

I really don’t understand why this is legal. Every trunk is required to have a glow in the dark handle that can open it from the inside at any time but for some reason it’s okay for normal ass doors to just become unopenable under common emergency situations.

A class on the KISS method should really be required really for engineers

My guess is it’s the EXACT same hitch setup form the Y just bolted, ok wait lets be real duct taped and gorilla glued to the Cybertruck
