They’ve been making cars for 14 years now, so they’re not really “new” any more. It still seems like they haven’t quite figured it out, though.

Do we know where David Tracy was at the time?

Land Rover Discovery 3

“Perhaps this was funny for a non-American audience”

I have a ‘15 1-series diesel automatic, and I don’t mind it at all. It usually (but not always, depending on the engine temperature and ambient temperature and if the AC is running and things like that) stops the engine when the car comes to a complete stop and I hold the brake pedal pressed. As soon as I show the

This is really weird, because the “European cousin” of the Bolt, the Opel Ampera-e is selling faster than they are able to make it. AFAIK, the only differences between the two cars are the badge and the charge port.
Opel say that if you order one now, you shouldn’t expect to get it before sometime in 2019, because GM

Thankfully, BMW will still sell you a car in a more interesting color than silver, black or white:

You can hold the traction control button for some seconds (10?) to turn it *completely* off, at least on BMWs. Not sure about MB.

My (new electronic type) shifter lights up with a bright green P when in park. It also goes directly to park if I turn the engine off.

You are mixing kbps (kilobits) and KB/s (kilobytes). 1KB/s is 8kbps. 320KB/s is more than enough to transmit video at a watchable quality. Even 320kbps is overkill for “casual listening”. I doubt you would be able to hear the difference of anything above 160kbps. FM radio can probably easily be compressed to 64kbps,

Good luck with that. If you pay the least bit attention to actual crash tests, you can see that even the cheapest modern econobox will be far safer at protecting the driver and passengers than any car from 20 years ago.

Crumple zones are both front and back on modern cars. You are supposed to be able to survive being rear-ended too. So sorry, you are wrong in this case.

You can disable all those features, or you can choose a different keyboard altogether.

No, that is wrong... The friction per area won’t change, but the total friction will most definitely be dependant on the area

And it’s still no reason for anyone else to be douche bags towards him and make his life miserable. It’s called being a decent human being, something a lot of people have forgotten what means.

It could also be something ridiculously simple like the brainfart I once had: The car would refuse to start in anything other than park, and I had left it in drive. Turning the ignition key gave me a “click”, but nothing else.

I own an automatic 118d, and I noticed.

I just want to say, that is a truly stunning car

Are they seriously throwing salt by hand from a truck?

That is one fugly car....
