Thnigs have changed indeed! I just wish I could afford to finance a 1LE ZL1. It’s funny, but I used to aspire to buying a new M3 for a long while. Now with the BMW turbo shenanigans and the last two numbers having nothing to do with engine size, I want a Chevy more than a BMW.

I was stationed in OKC (Tinker AFB). People were nice, life was easy.

I’d certainly rather have a 1LE ZL1 (almost a palindrome) than a Hellcat. But what a world we live in - 707hp family sedan (Challenger) or 650hp trackstar.

Oh - totally agreed. It’s a great car - but I grew up in the 70s/80s and I never thought the Official Car (tm) of the Mullet Crowd would become a track monster. :D
