She filmed Magic Mike XXL (and was paid) in 2014, so it wouldn’t be reflected in her 2015/2016 net.

Once is alright but doesn’t hold up well. Again, his comments were unprompted and dismissive of her work. You don’t have to like her. You should maintain some modicum of professionalism, especially in public forums. This isn’t difficult.

NYC has no shortage of Black people. Most of those Black people are Caribbean, dude. There is a difference.

Mentioning she went to an elite boarding school in California doesn’t actually amend any feelings I have, tbh. If nothing else, it shows that perhaps (and that’s a big perhaps) that boarding school had a better support system for their minority students. Not all boarding schools do, so good for them if that’s the

Dude, he called her a supermodel who wasn’t ready to be a proper actor, and yet he called Adam Levine a “proper actor”. Keira has been acting for over 20 years, has won and been nominated for numerous acting awards, and yet she’s not quite there yet? How, exactly, are we supposed to take that? It’s one thing to not

You do know that there are more than Black and white people on this campus right? Or are you assuming that because there are more “minority” students, that the distinctions between the groups that make up said majority doesn’t matter? Are you saying all minorities are the same? I’m curious....

The same way 7% is a minority...????

The assumption that because Columbia’s population numbers mirror the US population numbers somehow means that the school isn’t still unbearably white is kinda hilarious and somehow implies that 13% is plenty to not feel alienated in a school that is still majority white. Like, as of 2015, there were 632 Black

Dude, I graduated from Columbia (grad school) and it was very much overwhelmingly white. AND she’s an engineering major? Oh, yeah. White. Very, very white.

You know who else is Panamanian? Tatyana Ali. Black people live in Panama. A lot of them, actually.

I am legitimately horrified.

Um, not for nothing, if they couldn’t even afford the medication, what makes you think they’ll be able to afford hospice, which is not free? Just a question....

Performance aside, that hologram literally looked like Ayesha Curry in Whitney drag. I was so confused. The estate was absolutely correct in nixing that nonsense. Christina sounded good, though. She finally got a good vocal coach. So grateful because 2012 was a tough ass year for her vocals.

This would have been a better solution. Like Natalie Cole singing “Unforgettable” with her father via projection screen. It wouldn’t have felt so weird.

These are unmitigated facts!

I was having panic attacks, so... *hugs* Man.

As a person who went to grad school at CU.... yeah, I WHOLEHEARTEDLY sympathize with her and the need to get away.

If nothing else, it was a piss-poor comparison because when she stepped onto the carpet, like Andre Leon Talley, the first person I thought of was Nina Simone. Nothing about Lupita’s hair says white woman’s beehive. It was lazy.

I hate that I laughed.
