But what if the garishness of a classic banner ad is a virtue, and not a sin? If we accept that ad revenue is necessary to keep digital media’s collective lights on, which it currently is, then maybe the best option is to have the ads feel as “slapped on” as possible.

That’s...not their point

Purchasing an OBDII bluetooth reader was one of the best things I’ve ever done. I bought one for only a few bucks that has always worked (although with the cheapest ones you’ll see lots of reviews with DOA models). 

I set off with the goal to go a little further and intentionally slow down. Then when I hear my pace, some part of ego or something kicks in and I can’t ever stick with it. That, or I get a little tired and decide to just speed up and run shorter. It’s almost all mental with me.

I used to drive by Louisburg to get to work, and saw signs for the cat sanctuary. I always meant to go there, but we made a week trip to Eureka Spring, AR last summer and stayed the night at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge. Holy crap, I don’t see a reason to go anywhere else. Great place if you are nearby.
