seems neat...but you can pick up a macro lense, wide angle & fisheye for a couple of bucks off ebay (maybe amazon too). they use a adhesive metal ring around your phone camera lense & should come with lense protectors too.

fair enough. I myself have always used filevault & never experienced any hang-ups. Although I use Homebrew & it was throwing out some strange access errors the other day & thinking about it could be related to the encryption..

I would argue that ‘more secure’ is adequate in this sense. you compare it with quite a extreme option of encrypted off-site storage, which i find strange in the age of easy to set up secure cloud storage.

the worst thing is it plays your purchased music with stuff you add to ‘my music’ - i haven’t added any of my AAC files to my iphone (haven’t even connected it to a computer as yet) my music library is empty, bar one album i have added from apple music.
