Aye, I did download the app to try it out, but not before removing all those permissions with AppOps and also stopped all internet access with Droidwall.

mighty odd permissions needed for this app; receive text messages, route outgoing calls as well as make outgoing calls & read sensitive log data.
haha, well the NSA is sooooooo good at keeping secrets we may never know about the changes!
good point, but I'm sure there would be ways of doing it 100% anonymously - unless you mean that they could figure it out because he was the only person with access to that info?
well, installed elementary tonight on a old mackbook I had lying around, and I love it!! it's just so similar to OSX, but with all of the benefits of linux. thanks so much for the recommendation man - can't believe I hadn't heard of it before.
this is what I never understood, why didn't Snowden leak his docs anonymously?
oh yeah, the community and support is top notch for arch (and pretty much every other linux distro), but arch for beginners? no way - it doesn't even boot up to a gui! navigating filesystems via terminal commands is pretty daunting for newcomers. Still, arch is one of my favourite flavours :)
recommending Arch for people who have only tried a live CD (or most average windows/mac users imo) is the worst advice I have ever seen.
Linux, obviously.
yeah, I have to give it to Little he did a great job! I wouldn't go go as far to say his short video is the best thing ever produced, like you are implying, but definitely a decent hit.
you are AMAZING, this is perfect! I really wanted to keep the stock ROM on the 5 and now I can use some of the best features of the CM ROM. thanks again bud :)
im trying to find a (decent) flashlight app at the moment that doesn't want crazy permissions. it's actually pretty hard. I want something like the flashlight that is built into cyanogenmod roms, which i found on XCD forms, but unfortunately doesn't work on my kit kat Nexsus 5 :(
I don't know, was there?
ahhhhhh, now I understand the article. I thought it was written in Spanish before you cleared this up.
when i was in prison, the rape list was ripped up and put in a hat to be picked out of - so i'm afraid fraudsters win this one.
agreed - although i'm having trouble thinking of a design that would be impossible to copy or mount on. Best thing is just to be extra careful i guess.
it sounds interesting, but I wouldn't trust any software/hardware that isn't open source for my security. Also when push comes to shove you'll find that not that many people care about privacy, which is unfortunate.
Im pretty sure it was clever marketing meant for british people as I said.
Sony took over Page Three (and two) for a day, apologizing (sigh, apologising) to "Rosie, 22, from Middlesex," for displacing her. That couldn't have been a cheap ad, but I'd say it hit the target audience.
dont be a dick, it's his job and he's actually pretty good at it.
