Honestly, my main take away from this article is that we should’ve gotten The End in a banana hammock in MGS3, and I’m so pissed that didn’t come to pass, because damn if that wouldn’t make an already amazing boss fight even better.
Quick fyi, Lucas Pope (the Paper’s Please guy) actually made a game before that called the Republia Times (http://dukope.com/play.php?g=trt) that seems pretty similar to the Westport Independent, though I imagine the latter will end up having a bit more depth and content.

A perfectly valid point, if the game gave you a character that could be inhabited, but since the most substantive choice the game offers is “Kill the crabhead zombie with a pistol or a shotgun.” there’s nothing to inhabit. Freeman’s not as character; he’s a walking TF2 turret with a better arms selection.
