I just picked my Saab up from the shop where it needs $2000 of repairs. I’ve spent over $1000 this year so far. The car’s worth $1500. It’s getting donated to the humane society. 

But if the panel gaps are bigger they would allow air/water to bleed out and not pull off the bumper like a parachute.
