This is actually a fairly common practice with restoring old tractors. Buy one tractor with a good engine and one with a good transmission/rear end and put them together at the split.

I’m sure the reason that you aren’t getting one is the lack of V8.

Not only that, but the 05-06 GT shares its 5.4L design with my 2005 F-150 with the same displacement engine.
