Since when are Indians associated with the fucking taliban? It’s like accusing a Greek of supporting the IRA or something.

Even Capitalism has rules, dude.

free trade is the british system

To this average reader its clearly a misstep on behalf of the dealership and the racist pricks who work there. I fault the dealer and have no reason to fault MB.

that’s illegal—can’t refuse service to someone based on race, sex, religion, or disabled status. if they did it bc he is indian, then that is illegal.

I made the mistake of going into this dealer and asked about the Classic Center. They had no idea what I was talking about and had to google it.

‘just a bad North Jersey dealer.”

“i personally believe that if you are a business owner, it is your right to provide/refuse service to whomever you like, for any reason you choose.”

Correct, and the dealer selling the car can do whatever they want with it as well, ie not sell you the vehicle.

No, you can’t with some manufacturers.

And everything you just said is speculation. The fact remains a racist act like this could happen at a Tesla dealership just as it did here at a traditional one. Who’s to say a Tesla employee and someone in leadership are not little racist asshole buddies? Bottom line anyone with any common sense know a racist act

You bought the car on the condition you don’t export it, you can do whatever you want except export it. That’s M-B’s prerogative to set restrictions as a part of the sales contract.

Me to, Tom. They wouldn’t even look at me when I walked in to look at an M3. I took my business elsewhere.

Wow, you are clearly not getting it. This same thing could happen at one of the Tesla stores (Dealerships). Racists are not just at traditional dealerships they could very well be at Tesla stores as well.

Saw headline, thought, ‘Sounds like something Prestige would do.”

Why do you feel sorry for the dealership? They were allegedly assholes to this customer and the will lose future business because of it.

Nothing groundbreaking, just a bad North Jersey dealer. There are plenty of others in the area that will gladly sell the same car and give a much better experience.

Those two guys in the middle really don’t know what to do with their arms.

I for one like having a dealer network, it makes it easy to get parts directly from Germany for my 40 year old Mercedes.

I’ve personally dealt with this dealership on a few occasions, it doesn’t seem too far-fetched.
