No, your logic is wrong. You are judging something that is happening, two men getting married. You could leave your judgement to yourself but you decided not to. Therefore opening yourself up to be scrutinized. There’s a difference between offering your judgement up and simply having opinions.
Just for what it's worth, I knew Harris Wofford. He was the president of my (very small) college when I was a student. He was a gentle, decent man who never emitted a vibe of being predatory or creepy.

No one is “tripping” over themselves to accept. People are accepting because the relationship is assumed to be consensual unless you have evidence that it is not.
