Golf courses and gravesites have a lot in common in that they take up valuable land space that could be used for housing people instead of housing the physically and spiritually dead.

You are always the one sane light in a tunnel of crazy.

I got banned from Gawker because I posted “Hamilton Nolan’s hating on something? It must be any fucking day of the week.”

The skins, they are paper-thin around here.

Naw, sounds about right.

Fair. And commenters/readers are advertisers’ customers.

Commenters are not Gawker’s customers, advertisers are.

That’s the kind of enabling they like round here. It’s not endearing; it’s unprofessional.

I can’t tell you how mad it makes me that Kara brown still has a job after going through comments and literally copying and pasting the definition of “simple” (as in stupid) in reply to anyone who questioned her thesis - excuse me, fact - that they should have cast more black characters in a historic period piece

That’s our Kara.

At the risk of being banned, I ungreyed your post. Truth in the media and all that.

What is it that you don’t get? The post that got me banned, or the fact that Kara Brown banned me? If it’s the former, here’s what I meant. Brown wrote an article about how both Taylor Swift and Kanye West are annoying. She wrote it right after West went nuts on Twitter with pro-Bill Cosby positions and other crap.

It did come out funny, but I think he was just excited and happy and misspoke. I could see myself doing the same thing, and I haven’t even had a brain injury.

This is all it took:

I hold off snarking on people’s syntax and semantics after a traumatic brain injury. It has only been two years and his recovery thus far has been impressive.

it worked for Woody Allen? LOL ew I feel gross now.

She absolutely has the right to do whatever she wants with her appearance, and also to expect that no one will be rude to her because of it, but she can’t expect that people won't notice that she looks radically different. If it was subtle "has she or hasn't she"-surgery, then she could also expect that no one would

It’s called an upper bleph. It’s surgery to the upper eyelid involving dissection of the fat and muscle above the eye and below the eyebrow. She had naturally heavy lids and they removed a lot of the fat (a mistake, if you ask me—her eyes were cool that way) and moved the muscle. She’s still beautiful, she just looks

Can anyone actually pin point what is different here though? I’m not disputing that she looks different, just can’t figure out how? Is it the hooded eyes? Has she had something done to her lids?

You can’t do this and expect people to ignore it

Tracy Morgan still needs to raise.... his wife?
