Hi Mr. Barber, give me the Hitler Youth/Roger Klotz/Macklemore.

In the U.S., electric-assist bikes are limited to 20 mph power-assisted speed, anything faster than that and it’s no longer a bicycle for Federal purposes. E-bikes are street-legal in most states, but often illegal on bike paths, sidewalks, trails, etc.

When taking photos of the wildlife, choose your friends carefully!

This is never going to happen (and I spent 5 years lobby for public lands protection as part of the Sierra Club's political team in DC, so I am pretty high on the cynicism scale). Repubs always try this shit, but it's more grandstanding than anything.

Jamie just really wants more people to ride bikes. Its crazy he doesn't have more companies backing him and giving him a really big budget. Imagine what he could do with a TV crew...

Well, a lot of bicyclists are bigots! Some ride only road, others mountain!

I don't think this is meant for road going so much as it is for off-road biking, where endo'ing your face in to a rock of some sort is exponentially more likely. As for the peripheral vision — these don't actually take much of that away (goggles can though). They DO take away some of your vision from directly in front

Doing coke and reading Deadpan. When did we fall so far as a society? Time was you would go out, bang a bunch of hookers and wreck your car.

This guy. I'd read this guy.

RideApart. WTF happened at RideApart? It went from good, to OK, to crap in about 3 months. I stopped reading it, and it's the only bike blog I have found.

I will say this: How in god's name are you going to tell me that the new R1 motorcycle dripping in MotoGP technology is interesting but modern day racers are boring? Who fucking would care about anything beyond a CB500 if the lives of racers are boring? The reason they're boring to you might be similar to why Matt

Be nice to Laura over there. She's good peoples.

Wes, I love you.

Motorcycle Daily seems to be doing alright actually....

I would read the crap out of that honestly.

excellent post wes.

Wes, you're one of the few moto-journalists I will read. I disagree at times with you, but I never consider your opinion inferior to mine. I'm an MSF instructor, a motorcyclist for 2/3 of his life and I honestly feel like hanging it up more times than not.

Well, you're not doing yourself any favors in anyone's eyes by contributing to RideApart big guy.

You must be kidding - weird is the thing - this shit is going to drop a BOMB - I talked to a dude at Dupont as I read this and he said those ones are shaking in their boots and hoping position venture cap to buy these guys - and they said another group is doing the same - watch $100M or more land on these and fully
