All congressmen/politicians are idiots. I'm an idiot too but the difference is that I'll admit it and not spend your money.

The main ones that get ignored or flat out refused where I work (mainlyFord) are kids who want to test GT500s, and Raptors. "Kids" walk in every day when we have one in stock and ask to take it for a spin. They don't want to sit down and talk about it, they just want to test drive. We aren't going to let a 19 yo that…
From a 32 year old, younger looking, professional male. If a dealership asked me to run a credit check before a test drive, I would tell them to go fuck themselves. Also, I will wear whatever the hell I please as I am not there to impress a place I am about to drop $40k at. If they want to be judgmental, go ahead.…
Ummm...the Supra Turbo was $40K back in 1994. That's $65K in today's dollars. No one knows what it will cost, but $65-70K would effectively put it at the same price as the Mark IV Supra.
Unfortunately, I don't believe the Supra's "strong fan base" can afford a 50k+ sports car.
LFA, IS-F, new IS, GT86, RC...
Not to mention that just because the car looks fancy, doesn't mean it is worth any considerable amount of money. My first car that I bought myself was an almost ten year old BMW 318ti, literally the lowest of the low when it came to BMWs but it was in perfect condition, had great maintenance records, and I liked the…
Republicans tell me there are no white people on welfare. This story is a fabrication.
I read this story off of a reddit link, and a lot of people also came to her defense in keeping the car. The fact is, a known vehicle with a known maintenance history is a relatively smart decision over selling and getting a possible clunker. Controlling risk is just as important as controlling finances.
Good point. Guess Carbuying should stop posting all stories not immediately relating to beerdrinker and/or car buying. It was fun while it lasted.
When you're driving, you are either paying attention or you're not. The transmission in your car is completely irrelevant.
It is just as easy to get the corner of your shoe stuck on the clutch pedal, hit the brake instead of the clutch/vice versa, miss a shift in a panic situation, etc etc etc, in a car with a manual transmission as it is to be caught unattentive driving an automatic.
I used to agree with this. Then I bought a manual, and I still agreed with it...for a day. Then I went to McDonald's and ate my fries on the way home while driving my triple pedaled car and sent a text on the way.
You can do ALL those things with a manual.
Lol.
Any proof of that statement, or are you just going to pull crap out of your ass?
Really?
In most of the gas powered sports cars I drive on the Ring our fuel consumption rates are not much better
Odd, how you conveniently missed the exact part of this article where the guy mentions why he was okay with those admitted shortcomings. Further, the goal of his article was to simply talk about the potential, emerging market for performance EV cars. You're clearly FAR more anti-Tesla (I have no idea why) than he is…
It doesn't get held to the same standards as every other car discussed on here because it isn't like every other car discussed on here. It's a luxury all electric sedan. The very first one of its kind. Not a GTR. As such, instead of getting lambasted for the things it doesn't have, it gets marvelled at for…
