Oh I completely agree with that, but my mother loved this scene and also jokingly said it reminded her of their marriage. I also love every minute of this movie but I think she loved it for different reasons at that time. Now she just plain loves the movie for what it is. A dark, dark comedy.

My Mom and I absolutely adore this movie, but it was a little unsettling to know just how much pleasure my mom got out of this scene. My parents eventually divorced and are now great friends, but watching this during the ugly years showed me just how much you can hate someone you used to love.
