Can someone, when this reaction shows up.. enlighten me how this ‘approval’ thing works here? I have several posts waiting for 3 days now.. kinda makes discussion a bit hard..

The Obama administration was going to show neocons “how it’s done” via Arab Spring : who needs Shock and Awe when you got Facebook and Twitter (plus some covert CIA elbow grease). Funny thing about “pier-to-pier” revolutions: the decentralized nature that makes them robust is also what makes the aftermath so chaotic

PCV tubes on these always snap.

Win!

We designed, machined, and tested this all in-house with very few exceptions

Yeah, I said “at least” because I don’t really care about old firearms, and the Garand is the one I know off hand that uses it :) I’m totally with you on this one. The dude is like the Brainy Smurf of firearms discussions.

As a gun owner, I facepalm every time I see someone make a fuss about this. Language is fluid - quit being so literal. Unless you’re talking about a Garand, or some rifle of similar vintage, the distinction is completely meaningless in modern conversation.

The distinction has existed at least as far back as the invention of the M1 Garand. Whining about it has pretty much only existed since the invention of the internet.

I was agreeing that CUV’s, specifically, have developed into some lower life form from their days as BOF four wheel drive trucks. They have lost a lot of utility along the way and have become bland in the process.

It’s a nice show, but the European powers don’t even meet their NATO minimum spending obligations. They’ll need to go way beyond that before they can seriously stand on their own two feet. Or even balance on one foot for more than five minutes.

It makes sense. We like to sit upright. This is a crossover:

Look, all we’re doing is returning to the old style of tall sedans/wagons that was popular before and immediately after WWII. Going to the long, low style in the mid-’50s looked cool, but was a mistake in terms of functionality.

Your mind is now blown

The fact that it required a TEN HOUR debate to decide whether or not to strike ISIS shows how absolutely fucking paralyzed the UK has become by fear of their own out-of-control Muslim population and political correctness.

Yeah, there are airspace violations worth sending an angry letter over and airspace violations worth shooting over. Even if the Turkish version of events is correct, there was no good reason to shoot down the Russian jet.

Putin’s larger game is most definitely about probing NATO for weakness, or even trying to fracture the alliance.

Yeah? But can she do this?

Found the PETA activist.

You mean the 1940s.
