A very solemn COTD.

And thank you as well Tyler. Yours is the only article current on the entire Gawker network that has two important words - Veterans Day - in it.

I’m wrong. Had to google. Very confused. Apparently they changed the body in 1993, leaving the interior and drivetrain. In 1994 they did an interior and drivetrain change. Having hunted junkyards for unicorn interior parts in the early 00s, these must have never gone to them as I always Just looked at open wheel ones.

Wonderful, In 5 years we will have a new, good looking, lightweight chassis to swap an LT motor into.

Lolz. You’ve bought into the absurd notion that the reason that Islamic Jihad exists is because of poverty. It has nothing to do with poverty and instead, it has everything to do with their faith.

1985 Jaguar XJ-S V12.

Why isn’t Gawker reporting this? Oh right, there aren’t any women or brown people being victimized, so it’s not news.

I’ve got a Chevy 400 that I just can’t justify building because I’ll get more power, more economy, and better reliability out of a better mannered engine that’s costs less by just buying an lq9 and camming it.

The one measuring net horsepower rather than gross wins. The one that also manages superior reliability, streetability, and economy while making more honest power. The one that’s a cam swap away from 400hp. The ls wins every time. I’ve got a good 400 sbc in my garage right now that I can’t bring myself to build

Don’t get me wrong, Ford makes some great engines, but their eagerness to constantly change the design makes it hard to be popular with the hotrodders and swappers.

It also comes with a stand-alone engine management system in “standard” guise, which is a rare thing these days. No need to bring the entire wiring loom, various sensors and instrument cluster from the donor car to get it started.

+ CHEAAAAPPPPP PARRTSSS!!!!! <- this ones HUGE! it costs a lot more to swap in twice as many valves, springs, and 4x the cams.

Except the TPP is terrible. More jobs will go overseas, wages will be kept low. It’s just big business trying to screw over everyone else. I’d happily not have foreign trucks for the TPP to not exist.

The Europeans can’t make a move without American leadership. They’re not going to put their dicks in the hornets nest unless they know we’re committed to backing them up. Right now we have utterly feckless leadership with a bad habit of hanging its friends out to dry, so Europe is doing the bare minimum.
