Less than half a second is well within the normal variation you’d expect to see between a sampling of autos

Yeah with 110hp in a 4500lb vehicle that gets 15mpg and won’t even run the speed limit if the wind is wrong.

I’ve owned a lot of suv’s and by far the 70/30 doors are the best devised yet with suburban barn doors a close second

Chevrolet and GMC suburban

You do realize that there are places that aren’t intercity right?

FCA doesn't have a future

I’m not defending the shouty hyperactive ginger.

I’m sorry but at the end Top Gear was a caracure of Clarkson, Hammond and May trying and failing miserably at being Clarkson, Hammond and May from when they weren’t trying REALLY too hard.

The new show is EXACTLY like the old show. EXACTLY

I’m really digging Matt’s smooth delivery and steadiness of presentation. He's reminding me of Teddy Sevalas more in every episode

The show took an unplanned and extended haiatus with next to no publicity to keep it in the forefront. I would say this is to be expected.

The drivers/owners in question aren't NBC employees by any chance?

Sedans aren’t dying. They are returning to a much more practical layout that we enjoyed prior to the 50's when Harley Earl duped everyone into purchasing pointless style over substance.

Depending on how loose this sand is expect to eventually overheat. Lots of revs and high throttle input can be expected possibly in low range. Again depending on looseness.

As an ex 5.0 LX convertible owner I can star this comment.

The old pre taco 4 runners had a nice solid tightness

I don’t care if it’s been rebuilt the age and miles are never eliminated fully from the equation. I've never driven knew of these that drove as good as they did coming from new for the first 150k or so. Also note the 4x4 has completely different underpinnings to the 2wd I am more a fan of

They were great trucks when fairly new and did drive great especially in 2wd form. But in the past decade age and wear finally felled even the mighty gmt400. I'm an enthusiast but it's been years since even I've seen one worth owning

This is easy.

That’s your entire issue? That if you manually lock out a the downshift AND simultaneously decide you want to accelerate you have no boost at sub 1500 rpm for half a second
