Same reason I have sat through Event Horizon a dozen (or more) times. Some movies are just highly re-watchable.

Where is , the glamorous, the fancy, fancy? It starts with the menu.

They can't spell hazelnut either.

This is why the Core II: DIG DEEPER! should be made. I'd watch the hell out of that.

The Core is awesome. I won't hear a word against it.

The Core is my favorite movie among this list, definitely a quirkier Armageddon. Crap science and all, I just liked the idea of having to drill underground to save the world.

I think the key difference is that The Core knew exactly what it was doing. It wasn't silly because they didn't know better, it was silly because they did, and did it anyway.

What is this Highlander 2 that you speak of? There can be only one .... ;)

TPM is an awkward, poorly written, and badly acted movie, but yea... so was the original Star Wars. Thirteen year olds in 1977 were in their 30's by the 1990s, and anyone who has entered their 30's can tell you that they are well on their way to become a cynical, emotionless husk of a human being. I think people

Listen, when the actual name of your movie material is Unobtainium, you have a problem. But you have it. You have it right there. You're going to build your drill-thing out of it. It's not unobtainable! My brain was off for most of that movie so I could enjoy it, but younger me still face-palmed at that.

what gets me about Event Horizon is how fucking close to OMG awesome is was while still being oh, so so bad.

I'm glad there are some terrible movies that should *not* be rewatched.

Seriously, Star Wars Episode 1 was such a let down. The plot was incoherent, the acting was terrible, the ...

Say what you will about "Once Upon a Time" but at least Kristen Van Bauer's Maleficent just did that, turning into a dragon to torch some soldiers in this week's ep.

That Chinese throwing star boomerang thingy...

You just can't hate a movie where a guy does a big "the world is doomed" speech to the Pentagon while using props from a high school science class.

I don't mind that people hate Episode I, that's perfectly their right. What I loathe is this elitist mentality that if you don't hate this movie with a passion, you can't be a "real" Star Wars fan. I grew up on these films, "New Hope" is my favorite film of all time, I have comics, action figures, all of it. Yet

The Core is not just unscientific, it's joyfully so. And it's kind of a special pleasure watching a cast that includes Aaron Eckhart, Bruce Greenwood and Hilary Swank spout nonsense dialogue and attempt to take completely ridiculous situations seriously.

I really enjoyed the Core. It reminded me of the audacious 50's sci-fi/fantasy adventures. Zero science, but lot's of earnest fun.
