Knowing it was Kanye and Kim’s wedding makes the outfit 100% appropriate.

I went off to boarding school at 15, at my insistence. It was absolutely necessary for me, but I guess I wasn’t as on my own as an emancipated child would be. Still, you couldn’t have kept me in that house in that podunk town one second longer.

My mom always said that when they threatened to run away* my grandpa would always hand them a suitcase and say, “Well if you think you can get a better deal down the road I won’t stand in your way,” and then of course by dinnertime (or earlier) their growling stomachs would remind them how great the deal was at home.

It was apparently at Kanye’s wedding.

My answer to that question was “sell weed.”

Wasn’t Trey raised by his mother who was Smith’s first wife? That might be why he’s not like his younger siblings.

Jaden and Willow, yes... they come off as entitled and a bit out of touch. But Trey at least has the sense to stay out of the public eye.

The Smith family reminds me a lot of the sanctimonious rich parents I grew up around that bragged about how independent all their kids were while they ignored them to go on adult vacations to Necker Island, and then threw trust funds at them to “support” them through college, and then were shocked when their kids died…
