Try this on a a concept: POC is black, yellow, red, brown, bi-racial. And we are all about to claim whatis ours: respect, rights, a voice. Time to share. Sorry not sorry.

The sentence ““‘Stormi’ is short for Storm.” realllllly makes my brain hurt. Thanks US Weekly! Adding something =/= making it shorter.

How about this? Trying using the wrong term to a POC’s face. Didn’t think so!

Uh do you know what a person of color is? Good because you’re outnumbered by us.

Left it JUST long enough to learn how to spell “you’re.” Oh, and “moron.”

LOOOOOOOOOL! I had to edit because I missed a schlong.

Same. I mean I was just sitting at work sipping some coffee and scrolling and then was like “Oh.”.

All the Jolie kids:

I’m oddly willing to put it in my mouth? This random feeling came over me!

Mammary lapse?

That schlong, schlonnng, schlong,schlong schlooooooooooong.

Paul Marciano’s “ I never touched her inappropriately.” line is likely something he believes. He probably thinks grabbing her breasts for an authenticity check is appropriate. He’s wrong.

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

It was REALLY a thing while the Beatles existed and for many years after. Pure, understandable resentment. Older black musicians were much more forgiving toward the Stones, because they came from a more heavily blues based place, and often cited their blues and r&b heroes.

Yep, a lot of folks saw the British invasion bands as untalented. Not to mention that while people remember that bands like the Beach Boys straight up stole from Black artists like Chuck Berry, a lot forget that the Rolling Stones, the Animals, etc. were just as bad if not worse with ripping off or even straight up

No, this is a commonly held opinion among the old guard of black music industry icons. Ike Turner was vocally dismissive of the British Invasion bands as well.

Good lyricists (not 100% of the time obviously) but not good musicians.

I can understand why seeing 4 cute white boys who can’t play very well become hella famous when black musicians are working their ass off would be insulting and annoying. Hell, that still happens.

I’m going to insert “You like Brazilian music?” randomly in conversation from now on.

Well, some of those hot takes aren’t completely wrong. I mean, the Beatles really weren’t virtuoso musicians. They were good song writers and came around at exactly the right place and time to maximize their success.
