She was not punished (by the judiciary) for that incident, so I’m not sure if she would be held back from becoming a child advocate or therapist, but as far as I know she never pursued it.

You’re wrong on this. France is extremely weak in protecting children from sexual predators. They just let a grown man walk after he raped an eleven year old girl. Why? Because in the eyes of the court, the sex was consensual.
