I’m not so much fed up with Rory as I am with how the writers handled her. I think she had a great ending in season 7. Rejecting Logans proposal was really mature of her and actually showed some growth in my opinion and then she totally regressed in the revival. The character deserved a better story.

If it was some western mother sending tweets from her child’s perspective about waiting for Santa Clause or something else banal no one would bat an eye, but because people don’t want to comprehend the suffering this child is going through they’ll try and find any reason to dismiss the source.

Here’s a question: To what degree does it matter that these are “legitimately” the tweets of a 7-year-old girl—as opposed to her mother writing in her name for heightened effect? I ask because I’m sure there are lots of people who will get bogged down in skepticism about the veracity of the source of the narrative.
