Like I know we’re just a bunch of Mexicans and poor people that live here, but for fuck’s sake we’ve even had a mass shooting that received national attention and people still can’t be bothered to spell it correctly.

It's spelled San bernaRdino. Thank you.
This is important and I admit I'm a little worried about this. I'm much more confrontational than my husband. He's super easy going and even tempered. So I'm gonna have to talk to him about channeling my crazy when I'm too out of it to do it myself.
I totally agree!
31 weeks over here. Congratulations!
Thank you. I appreciate this.
OMG!! As a pregnant lady this just scares the shit out of me!
That ALWAYS made me mad! Even as a kid.
She's literally the most vile, and was constantly sharing garbage opinions about women and feminism. So while it's ironic that now she needs feminism, I'm trying not to take any joy from that. I'll just say that I believe her.
Oh God. Another one of these. Yes you're so edgy. Harambe for President.
Are you saying you’re considering sending them a gift even though you can’t go as a petty way to show you’re a better friend/have better manners? I mean, yeah that’s petty but in the end they still get a gift/money from you so I think they'd be cool with being the one to come up, even it stems from pettiness. The…
Good luck. I have endometriosis and sex can be painful so I understand some of what you deal with when seeing doctors. It has been brushed off for me for years. I have no advice or anything, just that painful sex is much more common than people know, and it's terrible that isn't better studied and better treated.
Oh God this is hard. It's true that stress could be bad for the baby but an STD would also be bad for the baby. I would want to know. I understand you don't want to put her through that, but even after the baby comes it still won't be a good time due to hormones and emotions. Does she have family and friends to…
Yeah I think that was the logic, except that Brazil had such a spike in birth defects (and really only Brazil so far) that they aren’t sure if it’s a mutated strain of Zika in that country, or the Zika virus combined with another infection, or some difference in the way the birth defects are being reported. I hope…
Ugh the ankle bites had me worried too! I was wearing pants and shoes and socks everyday. I’ve been put off work (due to other complications) so now I just try to stay in air conditioning as much as possible. :/
Yeah my doctor said basically the same thing. Told me to wear bug repellent and long sleeves if I'm worried...but that she isn't worried. I was also not impressed haha. I know I'm pregnant and anxious and hormonal etc. but there is just too much that is unknown and the outcomes can be so devastating that it's hard not…
Yes they were saying that! I did read somewhere else that they just dont know yet, it hasn’t been causing birth defects long enough for them to know if immunity is a possibility that protects the fetus. I’m not faulting them, because it seems like new studies come out daily, but there's just so much still unknown that…
Actually now they have found it in the Culex mosquito (the common one here) they still haven't determined if it can pass it to humans though. The Culex was the mosquito they were going to spray for, because of west Nile, but there were protests. So yeah, it's because people here are very against insecticides.
I'm 30 weeks too!! I'm out in California and I figure the same thing. They aren't testing people for it and they haven't been spraying for mosquitos because people out here are very anti-insecticides. So yeah, I figure we won't find out its here until it's been here for awhile.
And this is why my crazy pregnant ass has been wearing bug repellent daily since May. By the time they identify a local outbreak it will have been ongoing for a month or two.
