When I was living in Santiago (de Chile) there was a knife sharpening guy who drove around my neighbourhood every Wednesday morning. Cost a few pennies and he'd turn knives into razor-blades in a trice. Ceramic stone and strop and everything. Thought it was a great idea at the time.

What's a "casual" (sic) loop? "I'm going back in time but, you know, it's no big deal. Just wearing jeans and a shirt. It's cool. You can come if you want."

CIA *OFFICER*, not agent, FFS. That always pisses me off.

You evidently care that I don't care about the superbowl. Otherwise, why the article? But seriously, don't give a rat's. Didn't read the article. Don't even know who's playing. Very happy with that idea. Wouldn't have mentioned this until you taunted me.

And by the way, you're looking very young Dorian. How could you possibly remember the 90s!

Never really had a clique, really, so I dispute, I found them stupid and contagious. And the same thing goes for the ska folk—they were all those people around you in high school too, no doubt. Perhaps just not the "cool grunge people" clique of whom you approve. I maintain there was simply more fun to be had

In the 90s you went to a ska show if you wanted to dance and meet girls and have fun. When the grunge tunes came on in clubs it always just degenerated to dudes jumping around being angry—not so much fun.

You have no taste.
