It feels like it’s been a long time since the “White Walkers” were even mentioned anywhere south of Castle Black. This episode is an important reminder that most are wholly ignorant of their existence, and are nowhere close to being ready to fight in the great war to come.

Maybe not a good decision, but unavoidable for the plot. That Sword really need to be in the hands of someone who knows the White Walkers... :)
