Yeah I totally hear ya. As a New Jerseyan I also find the jab about the ugly dog dying in NJ really uninspiring. Cause Tennessee=rednecks and NJ=trashy tan moms.

Yes, Calibre is wonderful. I have so many books that friends have given to me I highly doubt I'll ever go through them all.

Agreed. I mentioned in a different thread that even when he's onto something he sounds like he has no idea what he's talking about. I'm also uncomfortable with the idea of telling him to "shut up" but I'm not sure if his words are really reaching to the masses if everybody is laughing at how ridiculous he sounds. If

I agree. It was so incredibly random and unnecessary to mention Jews in this particular situation. He's talking about racism while channeling a stereotype that's thousands of years old.

No, I agree. I almost feel bad because even when he's onto something I have to re-read a few times to get what he's talking about. Also doesn't help that I find him insufferable so whenever he's on Dirt Bag I instinctively roll my eyes as I read.

Awesome! I bought myself a holiday lip glaze set. I feel like Stila is really underrated

The Original Magic Wand—$55 ($41 on sale) Good Vibes

I received a Kindle several years ago as a gift and I was also a little reluctant about the whole thing. I think it's the best gift I've ever gotten, seriously you won't regret it if you're the kind of person that is always reading something. The books have been getting cheaper, you can get freebies on the store, and

I know right? I don't even understand why people go in person when online there are the same (if not better) deals, usually free shipping/a free gift, and the joy of not having to see other people.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find a religious person who adheres strictly to every writing and doctrine, especially since there can be so many contradictions within the faith itself. I think religion is a personal, lived experience and not just collections of sacred rules and writings. I'm also an atheist.

Right?! Just imagine how many other victims there are/could have been because of this enabling? I guess feel bad for the people that genuinely aren't part of the problem, but any person that is not Jane Doe (plural) that claims to be the real victim here makes me want to vomit.

I KNOW RIGHT?!?! I'm genuinely curious what kind of victim blaming bullshit they're going to spew out now, given that they were supposedly under supervision.

Ah well that makes sense, I think I was just stuck on the fact that it was a child in the airplane scenario.

Was just gonna say the same thing. My employers in this industry have made it quite clear that everybody is disposable. They would fire people for the most minor infractions, even when they complained how understaffed we were. At my last restaurant job there was basically a new crop of trainees every 3 weeks.

Wow, that's really disheartening. I'm neither married nor a mother, but I can see the importance in making sure your marriage doesn't take a back seat to the kids. But their reasoning makes it seem like the husband is another responsibility of the mother and not a partner. I'm all for taking care of your partner's

Number 24 is just plain weird, what kind of inspiration can be drawn from putting on your own oxygen mask before helping a child with their's? That scenario is so specific to air travel I don't see how it's supposed to translate to everyday life. Is the moral here that you should always put your needs ahead of

Good catch I completely missed that one.

Same. But since the only place he ever saw a naked woman for the longest time was porn, I think he was just plain ignorant

Like I said he's my SISTER'S friend haha.
